PW Enhancement Center (PWEC) is a 501©3 non-profit organization (not a religious organization).
Our mission is to provide supportive services under one umbrella to help families, low income individuals (30% ami or below), veterans and homeless who are in need. PWEC’s leadership has long understood that the door to poverty does not have to be revolving, nor do most human beings want it to be. Knowing our client is the success of our programs development, and PWEC’s services are designed with the intention and goal of enhancing the quality of lives for the betterment of the community.
Our vision and goal of the center, is providing a continuum of care that helps individuals eliminate barriers of homelessness and unemployment.
As servants of the community since 1997, our vision is to build a multi-faceted facility that houses long-term, wraparound services including but not limited to: emergency housing, youth education, homeless prevention/rapid re-housing, basic life skills, permanent housing, emergency food, food vouchers, resource referrals network, outreach services, assistance in housing placement, employment enhancement, case management and other needed resources.
